Okay, on my site, I generally keep up occasionally on the Subversion repository (better than trying to manually update/merge everything), and this issue has been going on for quite a while, but I haven't really been interested in bringing my site back up until recently.
On the main index page, for example, the comment display link will show up as "Posted in General, Personal | No Comments ยป", but on an archive/individual page, it will show up as "Posted in General, Personal |". It won't show the "No Comments" part, or the edit link, and won't "stay logged in". The cookie is there, and will always work on /wp-admin/ fine, but on the main page, and individual/archive pages, it won't show as logged in most of the time. The .htaccess settings shouldn't be anything non-standard, but it seems strange that it won't appear logged in there and hence comments can't be posted. None of the 'main' files are different from standard WordPress, aside from the site theme, which has had to be reengineered /reimplemented several times based on the updated default theme, but I've never had troubles with it before, and it should be proper code. Does anyone have any possible fixes/ideas on this?
It's also unrelated, but the LivePress hasn't been updated in quite a while, and the latest version still seems to 'work fine' for old posts, but on new posts, it won't seem to add the correct custom entry data to make that data appear, I can't figure out why.
