   Tearing out my hair here.

   Both the latest versions of Wordpress and the Postie plugin are installed.

   The blog is encoded utf-8.

   Posting through the interface - fine.

   Posting via email (using Thunderbird) - fine.

   Posting via keitai (cell phone) - Japanese text does not show up correctly.

   Japanese phone messages are encoded ISO-2202-JP. I have altered the conversion code in the postie-functions.php but this didn't work. Same result.

   English text, images and video show up fine.

   Any solutions or links to information much appreciated!
