Transfer term to another taxonomy

    I recently added a new taxonomy to my posts using register_taxonomy. Now, I’d like to transfer all of my existing tags to the new taxonomy (“symbols”) and then convert all of my categories to tags. (Weird, but trust me – it makes sense).

    Any ideas on a MySQL query I can run to “transfer” existing tags to the new taxonomy so I don’t have to individually edit hundreds of posts?
