Why I cannot publish with email?

    Hi,
    I want to use email to publish to my WP blog. I set up in ‘options’-‘writing’, I want to use a gmail account, so I setup with:
    mail server: mail.gmail.com, port:995
    Login name: xxxxx(my gmail account)
    password: xxxxx (my gmaill password)

    Then I sent an email to xxxx@gmail.com and I suppose it should publish what I wrote to my blog, but it never happened. What’s wrong with that?

    I have followed the procedure and installed the Cron script. However, when an email message posts to the blog, it has broken lines from misplaced hard returns. The message was sent to the secret POP account in plain text, so I don’t know where the hard returns are coming from. They were sent from Outlook 2000. Is there any way to correct this problem?
