[Plugin: Advanced Most Recent Posts] Doesn't filter titles

I’m sure this is to do with how the plugin works but it seems to avoid the the_title template tag so filtering the_title doesn’t work, does anyone know a workaround such as another filter that filter post titles not just the template tag?
