   Hi ..I just installed Wordpress and created the blog on my site www.srajaram.com, I have other pages which i want to link to with pictures ..
   it would be great if i can use the grey space to the sides of the blog to put pictures acting as links ..
   Any help on how i can achive this ?

   It can be done but you have to be quite good in HTML and CSS to achieve that.
   I'd suggest you pick a 3 column theme where you can easily add your own links to the two sidebars.

   As to how to make images links > http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_links.asp - HTML basics, not a WP question.

   Thanks for the reply Moshu.
   I know a bit of html ..I was with Blogger initially and recently moved to WP.
   Can i edit templates like it is possible in blogger ?
   If so, I guess I can find my way thru :-)

   Yes, you can edit anything. You just have to understand how the template files build up a theme, e.g. when you see that first main page of your blog - it is composed by at least four (4) files, not counting the CSS.
