• I am starting a new website to support the release of my first book. I currently run wordpress on 6 seperate blogs that I write and am very comfortable with the software after a year. I can picture how I want the site to look as a wordpress page and really do not want to have to learn a new system to design this webpage.

I would like to have a blog component of the site to highlight reviews as they come in and other notable news. I would like to have this on a separate page though and not my home page. I would like the homepage to remain static and not contain the blog posts. Is it possible to add posts directly to one page that is not the home page? I am afraid that if I run a separate install of wordpress to a subdomain it will kill my RAM limits. Any ideas?
