I just moved wordpress from its old directory to the root directory following the directions on the Codex site, but I’m getting an error everytime I click on a link.

    Here is the site: http://www.lasseonline.com

Try the links in the navigation menu.

I have done this before, but I don’t remember running into this kind of problem.

There must be a simple solution for this, I just can’t think straight right now. Any help would be appreciated!

  • You did update your Permalink Structure?

    Yep, I did.

No internal links at all work on your site ( the permalinks ).
I would guess that your .htaccess is corrupt.
My only thing I can think of is that you should

    1. Delete your .htaccess file (backup first)
    2. Create an empty .htaccess file in your root directory( where your wp-config.php resides )
    3. Make it writable by WP (666)
    4. Check your permalinks settings and make and click Update

WordPress should now write the necessary rewrite instructions to .htaccess, with no intervention from you.

    It should work.

Alright, it worked this time. I wonder why it didn’t work for my other site 🙁

    Thanks petit!
