Stray Random Quotes – not loading quotes

I just want to put out there to the community that:

Stray random quotes plugin and phpbb_recent_topics are in conflict.
If you have both installed, phpbb_recent_topics will work but Stray Random Quotes will not load quotes into his widget. what you will see at best is just quote-marks( if anything ) once the webpage is loaded.

I have not found any workaround.
