Chaning the number of post on my home page

    I”m trying to reduce the number of post that show pu on my home page. Does anyone know what I would change to do that?

    Thank in advance. I haven’t found anything in the forum so far. If you have a link please post.

    This may be hard coded into your front page theme template file, unless you have theme options to alter this?

    Your front page file will usually be index.php, home.php, or front-page.php. Otherwise, it will be a page that uses a front-page template on the drop down options on the page editor screen.

    Just in case, forgive me if I’m stating something most likely useless already, you can adjust the number of posts per page/homepage/category/tagspage in your Dashboard > Settings > Reading page.

    That might work, but only if your home page is the main blog page too.

    If you have a custom front page showing a few posts and want to change this usually it is hard coded into the theme, or can be changed on the theme options page.
