  • WordPress – but then you might well expect that answer from a WordPress support forum. 🙂

I would say it is dependent on your style. I enjoy WP immensely, I have played with Joomla, and thought of it to be strictly good for eCommerce, but that is my 2 cents.

As Esmi said, most people here will tell you WordPress (me included)! But the best way is to find out yourself.

Install both of them locally, then give yourself a few days on each one and you will see which one is best suited to your needs pretty quickly.

WP is easier hands down. I have used Drupal and Joomla and although those are both excellent CMS tools, if you are as new as you claim, WP is definitely the way to go!

WP is the easiest to use, by far. It has a lot of features, especially with all the plugins and has the most themes. So it’s easy to pick up and customize.

Drupal is for big complex sites where you need total control. You won’t find much themes online, it’s a do it yourself cms :p But really powerful.

    Joomla, meh, don’t like it.

I have no experience with Joomla, but I have used both Drupal and WP quite a bit and my experience is similar to billgoldberg. Drupal is very powerful and has some nice features, but for ease of use, WP clearly takes the cake in my eyes.
