can't add new plugins since upgrading to 3.1.2

    Hi,

    Starting recently, I haven’t been able to add plugins by uploading them to the wp-content/plugins directory and activating through the WP admin panel. The list doesn’t seem to get updated after I upload to the plugins directory. This seems related to with my upgrade to 3.1.2.

    I’m using Multisite and I’ve checked the plugin list for both network and single-site panels.

    Any tips? Or does anyone else have the same problem? How would I go about debugging this?
