Are there any plugins to handle PDF files?

I’m running a local club wordpress site, and we have a monthly magazine that we email out as a PDF.

I’ve uploaded all our PDf Archive to a members only area, by the Upload Media Button, and there is a link to each file. (one per month)

Is there a plugin or anything I can use to enrich this setup? Like having people search all the PDFs for a keyword or something like that?

I’ve searched for PDF Indexer, but I only seem to get hits from Article to PDF converters or that sort of thing.
