[Plugin: SH Contextual Help] Upload to the media does not work
-
Can not add pictures or media through Media Library click on the icon and nothing happens.
-
Also:
Can NOT put links or any kind of span, etc.
Because if you look at the HTML editor:1. Before you save: Some red text <span style="color: #ff0000;">HERE</span> 2. After you save one time: Some red text <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">HERE</span> 3. After you save two times: Some red text <span style=\\\"color: #ff0000;\\\">HERE</span>
And for links
1. Before you save: Some link <a href="http://wordpress.org">HERE</a> 2. After you save one time: Some link <a href=\"http://wordpress.org\">HERE</a> 3. After you save two times: Some link <a href=\\\"http://wordpress.org\\\">HERE</a>
and so on…
Could I place a request as well?
Instead of having the options to insert before/after/replace the content on “WordPress Contextual Help” it would be easier to JUST load (show) and edit the default content.
This way one can decide where to place the edited text. Before/after or in-between. Would save so much time and options…
And if one doesn’t like it can always reset πThank you for an excellent idea.
Hi marikamitsos,
Thank you for report the problem. The problem which you showed me is fixed. Regarding your request, I have tried before I launch this plugin. Unfortunately the default contextual help content is hard-coded. So I cannot collect the data from database. Only if user click on every page, then I can collect.Sam Hoe
Hi tsavino,
Please provide me the detail of the problem because I can upload and insert the image. Thanks.Sam Hoe
Thanx Sam for your quick response. What I mentioned is solved, EXCELLENT.
but…
I’m afraid tsavino is right.
The visual editor does not save pics, links and other things maybe. They can NOT even be clicked. They DO save though on HTML
Even worst, paragraphs do not change not even on HTML. It is just a loooooong text of just one loooong paragraph. I managed to make paragraphs by manually adding the p code on HTML, BUT they get lost again when you go back to the visual editor.
I have wordpress 3.1.1 on a test site and have all plugins deactivated. So it is not a conflict with anything else.
You better give it another stab. πThanx again
Hi marikamitsos,
