Hide products of subcategories in parent category

    Hi, I am using WP e-commerce plugin, how do i get the child categories to show up on the parent category pages? I have no products in the top level categories.

    when i try to enable “Show Subcategory Products in Parent Category” in admin then it’s showing subcategories product if there are not any product in parent category.
    I want to show subcategories in parent category without any product of subcategory if parent category is blank.

    In given url:
    Adult Toys is parent category & Room Accessories is subcategory.
    I don’t want to show products (Body paint,New Adult Product,test1 & Adult Product 2) in parent category (Adult Toys) because these are related to subcategories.

    I have the same problem. Using 3.8.7.6.2 of the plugin. I set “Show Subcategory Products in Parent Category” to NO, but it still present all products from child-categories.

    Is there a bug-fix or plugin to repair this problem?
    I don’t want the product of the child-categories in the parant-category.

    I was having the exact same problem and I think I just figured out the issue. If your sub category slug matches your product slug it will show all the sub category products.
