Vanilla Integration

Hi,
I would write this myself- but i can’t figure this out.

By “Forum” i mean “Vanilla” because it seems pretty similar to wordpress in mission statement.

My final goal would be to replace comments with Forum threads. And use the same login and registration interface.

So that means: when i post in my blog, it creates a thread in the “Blog Discussion” category with the same content, of the post.

And when i go to the post’s permalink instead of having “comments on post title” it’s got “forum replies to post title” (i can do this last part myself- RSS is your friend :p)

and for the login and registration- that’s prety self explanitory. (There is probably a plugin for this already)- but i seem to be the world’s worst search engine user.

To post the blog into the thread- i tried looking through post.php (the file which the <form action=""> attribute points to. But, that file doesn’t even mention POST variables, so i don’t know how that works.

Any help on this subject will get you credit on my website and karma and good vibes. No money though :p
