• I tried to make the title for this thread as brief as possible. My new blog (CLICKY)does not have a title or header image, but will have lots of entries that begin with images. I would love to figure out a way to do the this:
Determine whether the most recent post is of category “Photo-Documented”. If true, do nothing. If false, excerpt the title (with a link) and image of the most recent post of category Photo-Documented- and place excerpt before the most recent post.

My wants far exceed my abilities as a coder. Can anyone help me?
    Thanks.

  • Before coding do something about your images, try to resize them (not the pixels, but the file size KB!)
    A 764KB pic in a post? seems insane 🙂

Right. I didn’t realize that first one was so huge. I found a thread about conditional tags, and I’m going to see what I can come up with there. What I’m most concerned about is being able to put the excerpt before the first post. Feel free to offer hints as I muck about.
    Thanks.
