Another Help, lost password of username in wordpress.org

    Your hostedftp account was inactive on the back end. I’ve reactivated it so you should be able to reset your password now. Let me know if it works.

    Thanks I’m back in. How often do we have to login to avoid this?

    There is no login threshold. It’s just a hiccup that happens occasionally.

    Just to clarify further, one of the forum gurus passed along this information:

    “All accounts start as inactive. The first time they log in, they get set to active. There is no case where it gets set back to inactive except manually.

    This problem occurs when somebody creates an account, never logs in, and forgets their password.”
