MySQL backup error: cannot flush tables

    I tried to backup my database with MySQL Administrator following the instructions given in the Codex. This is the first time ever I try to backup it.

    I got the following error message:

    Error during backup.
    Cannot flush tables with read lock.

    As I am a newbie with MySQL I have no idea what that means. What should I do to fix the problem?

    What I already did was that in Advanced Options I changed the “Lock All Tables” option to “InnoDB Online Backup”. With that change I was able to create a backup file but I just don’t know if that file is any useful.
