    Hi All,

    I his very nice Wordpree theme from Information Architects, called iA3. It has a newsletter form built into it, you can see an example on my contact page:

    http://hanshochstoeger.com/contact/

    The Theme has a backend where one can customize colors, contact data etc. For the newsletter form, there are two fields: “Newsletter form URL” and “NEewsletter Form Field Name”. Unfortunately, the sellers don´t offer support for the theme, so before contacting them, I wanted to ask if anybody familiar with newsletter forms can tell me how to customize/what to fill into this fields, to be able to add email adresses to my newsletter mailing list?

    thanks & kind regards,
    Hans

    I think the url name and title has to be in the widget area is it? There should be the settings tab for this may be under settings or as a different set of menu in your admin area.

    “Newsletter form URL” relates to the page that processes the form input.

    <form method="post" action="THIS IS THE FORM URL">

    “Newsletter Form Field Name” relates to the name of the input field that asks for the email address.

    thy for your help…there are no further settings in the admin area…I´m no programmer in any way…do I have to install a newsletter plugin and pass the input from the form in any way?

    I think this is not a programed newsletter. I just saw that input text doesn’t have a name.. <input id=”” type=”text” value=”” name=””>
    So according my knowledge there should be a name to get the data from this form.. I think this is just a html form without programming, so this doesn’t work.
    I’m a designer.. hope a programmer can answer this properly..
