[Plugin: WordPress HTTPS] causes site to slow down and time out

    I installed the plug-in and it worked fine on my test site. So I tried it on my live site and it slows it down to the point it is timing out. I am totally confused.

    I have it currently disabled. I am trying to get the site more secure and nothing I have tried seems to be working *sighs*

    Suggestions? Ideas?
