  • Thanks to Alex Rabe’s great NextGeneration Gallery tools, I was able to launch this interior design portfolio site from scratch in 30 days.

It has over 300 images and a free offer.

But not one person has signed up for a phone call.

Is it slow? Technical problem? Message problem? I am not seeing the problem.

    What do you think?

    The URL would help:

    http://www.imatchdesigners.com

Nice looking site. Looks like you’re going to have to do some SEO and likely other offline marketing tactics.

You have a PR0 and Alexa of close to 4mm. Those are two signs that you’re not getting much traction on terms of visitors.

    Thanks Gabe

I can see we get about 400 visitors to the contact us page. But no one fills in the form. So is the form off-putting?

It is very brief. The pitch is on another page (talent selection). It has a form too.

I will see what more i can do with SEO.

    Thanks

SEO will certainly help get visitors to your site.

I think a lot of people will be skeptical of: free service just give us your phone number. I know I wouldn’t be inclined to give my phone number out. I might accept an email with further details, but I’m not giving out my number.

It’s a beautiful site, you’ve done a great job it and your work is very nice. But, I can tell you that it will most likely take some time to get any serious interest. Our site gets lots of visitors, some have been to the site up to 30 times, but we haven’t attracted anyone to join our forums or leave comments.

    Good luck,
    Nick

Is that 400 visitors per day? If so, that’s a decent number for a contact page.

Anyway, you have to figure out where the problem is.

    (1) If people aren’t coming to the site, then you need SEO and other marketing.

    (2) If QUALIFIED people aren’t coming to the site, then you need to find a way to improve your marketing focus. One way to tell is by looking at your bounce rate.

    (3) If qualified people are coming to the site but you’re unable to convert them, then you’ll need to provide an incentive. Perhaps they get a coupon for your services or a free report.

    Thank you

We have seen some activity re: signup.

Will look at the stats as you suggest. I hear it: SEO, incentive, time.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    You’re welcome. Best of luck!

    Well, if I may suggest…
The photo on the front page makes it seem as though your service is
not for 99.5% of the population. Perhaps using another photo from
your impressive portfolio, one who’s contents might seem in reach for more people, would help.
Also, why not list your phone numbers on the front page. Tastefully, of course. Don’t make ’em work to initiate contact.

Just sayin…..But hey, what do I know?
