permalink edit button missing

    Hi i’m new to wordpress and im having a slight problem.

    When making a new post i title it but then the permalink sets to an old permalink i once had that led to an old page i once had but deleted and i cant change the permalink and there is no edit button to change it.

    How do i get the missing edit button to come back and how can i change my permalink ?

    no edit button. the permalink leads to athenasthroneroom which is an old deleted page.

    I’ve been having the same exact issue, but with only one of my post types (another custom post type, regular posts, and pages all still have it, and I can’t find the difference).
