Show Sticky Posts at the Top Of Category Archive

I’d like to be able to show sticky posts at the top of category pages. I’m using archive.php for my category pages.

I’m using this code (http://pastebin.com/WCKFdxYR) to display sticky posts at the top followed by the rest of the posts within that category.

This works fine, until there are no sticky posts to display within the category and then it duplicates the posts list

I think I’m supposed to use <?php wp_reset_query(); ?> some where in my code, but I have no idea where, or if I’m on the right track!

I’d really appreciate some help. Many thanks.
