Good plugins for displaying a magazine journalist's portolio

I’m a freelance journalist looking for an attractive way to display my portfolio of writing on a page of my WordPress-powered professional website. At the moment, it’s just a plain list of text links to websites and PDF files, which looks quite cumbersome.

I really like this display format, which I found on another journalist’s website

but I haven’t seen anything quite like it for WordPress, particularly not with the ability to handle double-page spreads so well, or the ability to click straight to a website from a screenshot, in the case of online journalism.

Can anyone recommend a good plugin for this?
