Plugin activation buttons not working

Hi,

I hope someone can help. I am having problems trying to activate (or, for that matter, deactivate) plugins.

I go to the Plugins page and I can see the list. When I click on the Activate button WordPress says (at the top of that page) ‘Plugin activated’ – except it isn’t! Eventually (after clicking many times I got a couple of the plugins to be activated (including one that I didn’t want) and it took me several attempts to get that one deactivated.

Now, I’m trying to activate another plugin – but WordPress just won’t do it!!

Is it me? Or is there something else I must do?
