    Hello,

I’m trying to set up a CD product with 2 variations:
Physical CD with price-1, say £10
Download CD with price-2, say £8 (mp3 download)

I’ve created a product as download CD with price £8 and have specified the downloadable file.

In “Product Variations->Option Group 1” I’ve added Download, CD +£2.00.

Now I have a dropdown with following options “Download” and “CD £2.00”. When I choose download it adds it to the cart alright with price £8. However, if I choose CD with price £10 it adds it to the cart with price £8 instead of £10.

I went to edit the product and noticed that there is an odd character before the £ sign: Download, CD +£2.00. How do I make sure that the price of a product variation appears in the cart correctly.

Also, what’s the best way to set up a physical product (like CD) that is shipped and have a certain price with a digital variation (mp3) that has got different price and doesn’t need to be shipped.

    Many thanks,
    Dasha

  • I asked the Cart66 support:

This is not a bug. You cannot use anything except the $ to add calculations at this time. This is only in the backend however. If you use a different currency symbol on your site, that will always appear to your customers. In the backend however, you must use the $ symbol to correctly calculate the prices.

    Works for me, good luck!
