• The page isn’t redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

    * This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

I have been getting this error a a lot lately on 1 of my websites, i have 3 all hosted on the same server by the same host and this is the only 1 that does this so i ruled out it being the host’s fault.

Can anyone tell me what to do to fix this as i know its sending potential visitors away. I tried deleting the .htaccess file but that did nothing. I can’t tell where the supposed redirects are coming from.

    Thanks in advanced.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

No sir i have not tried those, and i will but i must ask.

Why would it happen out of nowhere? I have not added any new plugins or anything the site has been sitting around just fine and then bam this starts happening.

    I will try your suggestions.
