• Using Revolution Code Blue 2.0. Would like to install Google AdSense code to the top banner and then, to the side (if possible). I have the code…but just don’t know if I need a plug-in or if I need to insert the code myself…and where? I need HELP! Any help on how to do this would be really appreciated….Many thanks!!!

  • if you are not confident with working with php or html code, a plugin will be your best option.
there are many available, although not all of them might not be able to put the ads into the position you want.

a link to your site might get you more replies, as not many will have your theme installed or will be very familiar with it.

Thanks. I am ok with code…just not an expert at it…and not super confident…except if I get a little guidance. Here is a link to the site: http://www.thedailyown.com Thanks! I just want to put something in the top header/banner box area…and I figured AdSense made sense.

in header.php, have you tried to replace this:

    <a href="#"><img src="<?php bloginfo(..); ?>/images/468x60.gif" alt="Featured Ad" /></a>

with an adsense code of the same dimensions?

to add adsense to the side, i.e. sidebar, you can insert it into a textwidget.
