• Seem to work pretty well. Note that first backup requires keeping browser open and needs babysitting for very large sites (has tendency to stop as another user commented). The fact that subsequent backups are incremental is a very powerful feature and should avoid this problem. Works for unlimited number of WordPress sites (although not for WPMU according to support).     I’m using iDrive for WP on a multisite install. You leave it network deactivated and activate for each individual site which requires it’s own iDrive account.

    This works for me, since my multisite install is a managed hosting program, and none of the sites are really “related”. I can see how if you had a batch of related sites, it would be a pain.

    Hmm… just went in to view the backups on iDrive.com, and the backups for each individual site seem to back up ALL of the themes for the whole network and only some of the plugins.

    Not sure what kind of mess it might create to try to restore a site from these backups….
