Retreiving a record at a time from Google docs spreadsheet

Here’s what I want to do:

Have reader fill out google form, select the submit button, get a page that says “… we will email a copy of your answers.
Email address: [user fills out] (this should be an opt-in form for Mail Chimp)
And then record of the person’s responses are sent to him.

What kind of coding/expertise would I be looking for? I’ve made the form. http://www.sharinghousing.com/worksheets/interviewing-checklist it goes into a google spreadsheet. that’s fabulous. Now how to retrieve one record, package it and send it. Thoughts? Places to look for help?
