“The header and footer on your website are cached and somehow loading from somewhere else.” This is what the WordPress theme developer told me. The theme I’m using is called Tesla.
It looks to me as if my list of Pages has replaced my main navigation bar and footer navigation bar, and this list is displaying vertically instead of horizontally, overlapping the body of my website. Also, the background color is wrong.
I have tried deactivating my plugins, one by one, and that didn’t change anything. Then I tried deleting my plugins, one by one, and still no improvement.
I have also tried switching to the WordPress classic theme, but the problem is still there, so I’m pretty sure it’s not an issue with the theme. (The theme developer was sure of this, too.)
I recently upgraded to WordPress 3.1, and I always perform plugin updates when they are available. In the past I have had issues with my shopping cart plugin, but I tried deactivating and deleting it and it didn’t resolve things.
I would be SO grateful for any help or point in the right direction!
