I just followed directions in the wiki….http://wiki.wordpress.org/index.php/How%20To%20Blog%20By%20Email
After loading wp-mail.php this is what happened —
    In the browser:
    Mission complete, message 1 deleted.
    Content-type: , boundary:
    Raw content:
This text is part of the internal format of your mail folder, and is not
a real message. It is created automatically by the mail system software.
If deleted, important folder data will be lost, and it will be re-created
with the data reset to initial values.
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /usr/www/users/jgreene/wp/wp-includes/class-xmlrpc.php on line 761
and then what posted to my blog:
DONT DELETE THIS MESSAGE FOLDER INTERNAL DATA
    Filed under:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/www/users/jgreene/wp/wp-includes/template-functions-category.php on line 65

The email I sent was this —
    subject –
    blog by email
    message –
quite the popular option to have and WordPress has it too…
(just sent this from my email account)

  • @atmasphere: What you see there is not the email that you sent to your blog. I would setup a simple account on your own email client (set to delete posts when you want them deleted) and remove every email that is in that account. Once you are sure that there is no other email in there, send you blog another email and give the posting a shot. That should fix it.

Thanks… however — this is a clean account and had only one message which I had just sent.

I got the same error with a brand new clean email account set up just for the wp-mail.php function.
