404 Error on a randomly page

    Hello,

    I’m facing this days a problem (it’s occured since older version) with my wordpress website. Sometimes, when I’m surfing on the website I get some 404 error page (default wordpress 404 error page), I refresh the page and the problem is gone, it’s occured one, two, sometimes 3 times but gone after a simple refresh.

    The problem now is that I’m trying to access my dashboard but I’m getting the 404 page even with a hard refresh.

    I don’t know if someone get a problem like that and if there is a way to fix it.

    Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. You may need to try logging into your site to get this to kick in fully.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    Hi emsi & thanks for your reply,

    I tried something else, I reset my cookies since 2 hours (thx Firefox) and tried to login again and all is going fine now. I don’t know if it’s a problem related just to my computer or not coz I tried when I get the problem two different browsers and get the problem with them.

    I’ll try until tomorrow and come back here to make a feedback.
