• Hello all! I’ve been at it for a while now and need your help. I have a weird theme that does not play nice with plugins, so need to do this via code.

I want simply hide a page from my nav menu… and with ‘exclude’ I’ve managed to do that. However this page no longer works if I link to it or try to load it directly in the URL. Nothing happens. Weird. ANY advice please!!!

  • I have the same problem and it appeared with upgrading the WP version.
    I’m looking for a solution now 🙂

This is why it is a good idea to use themes compatible with the new custom menu available in WordPress 3.x.

With this enabled in your theme it is a very simple case of just going to Appearance->Menus and creating your own menus exactly the way you want them to be.
