    Hello,

I have just moved my site from http://permagnus.com/portal to http://permagnus.com (the root folder). I’ve also already followed podz direction (on his tamba site) but my new addresses still point out to my old blog address.

I already change all of the links on my SQL files, I also have changed the general options on my WP-admin but with no success.

Can someone really help me out here? I’ve been up all night trying to figure this one out (since yesterday). Thanks

Update your permalink structure in Options/Permalinks (all you should have to do is hit the update button).

Also, double-check your move procedure against this guide:

I have updated it. Now the address is all messed up. The new blog has the old address and the old blog has the new address. I think it’s impossible because they both shared the same database.

Should I empty the cache? How to do this? (The cache of wp, not my browser)?

If you can, use phpMyAdmin and make sure the wp_options table values for siteurl (WordPress address) and home (Blog address) are set to http://permagnus.com.

Make sure your wp-config.php file is pointing to the correct database!

Yes you can delete the files in wp-content/cache.

Hm… I already do that too (both now points to http://permagnus.com/). Deleted all of the .htaccess files. Haven’t deleted the wp cache though…

    Oh wait…

It worked! Phew… Thanks Michael 🙂
