3.1 Issues – linking and Visual mode posting

    I never think twice about updating my version of WP because, well, I never have had to. But since the update I have been faced with two rather gigantic issues.

    I was first going to ask if anyone had issues with, after selecting text and having the link button not work, but now no button even shows. No anything shows, really.

    But now, when writing something about the amazing Rose/ Doctor Who ‘Doomsday’ scene I found a new issue. That is to say, I do not have a functioning Visual mode. Embedding the text for a YouTube shows up as text (only after switching to and back from the HTML view) but when I preview it, the embed does show.

    I have tried switching themes, turning on/ off plugins and none of that jazz has since worked.

    Any ideas?
