[Plugin: Flickr Gallery] Lightbox for single photos and prevent flickr links

    I’ve been experimenting with this plugin and I think it’s great. However, there are two things I can’t figure out how to accomplish.

    The first is it’d be nice to have a lightbox option for individual photos instead of only for galleries. If that is already a feature then my install is broken somehow or I don’t understand how to use the correct shortcode. Not a huge deal but would be nice nonetheless.

    Next is an option to prevent the shortcode from also providing a link to flickr. I began using flickr to store all my blog images including stock photos for topic posts and news items, but I don’t want each and every photo to bring them to flickr. I just want the photo to show up with no link associated with it.

    Is this functionality possible?

    I need to remove the link back to flickr too – did you get an answer from anyone?

    It’s against Flickr’s TOS not to link back to the Flickr page for each photo. It’s not likely the plugin author will change for this reason. You could hack the code to do this yourself, but then you run the risk of Flickr terminating your account.

    I also use Flickr to host all my blog images. I set photos to private if they shouldn’t be viewed in my stream. The plugin has the ability to pull private images. I wouldn’t worry about outclicks for stock images driving traffic away from your blog.
