• Hello, my client just pointed out they couldn’t find a sermon on their site. Turns out that when you do a site search it doesn’t search the titles of the actual messages that I typed in… only content typed in the actual Post. This is going to be an issue… anyone know of a solution or maybe a search plug-in that would achieve this?

There is currently over 300 sermons on the site and that will be growing fast, so to go back and add titles to the actual post will require a LOT of work. Please advise.

That is a good point. The default search searches only through titles and content of posts, pages and attachments.

But it is possible to modify the query string of such a search. The current Development Version includes the title and URL (location) of the podPress media files into the search.

Warning: This Development Version and the upcoming release of podPress are going to rename the meta_keys of the podPress post meta information. podPressMedia becomes _podPressMedia and podPressPostSpecific becomes _podPressPostSpecific.

Backup the db before you install the next version.

    Regards,
    Tim

Expanding the search is in the current Development Version (8.8.10 RC 4) an option at the general settings page of podPress which is not active by default.
