Is WordPress Capable of…..

    Hi Guys,

    I am web designer who has been asked to create a project for a client. I was just wondering if I could make it in WP or would have to build it from scratch.

    They want a site where people can log in upload pics, rate and comment on them. Just for amateur bird followers who wants bird watchers to comment and get feedback on their pics.

    Can you make sites where users have to log in, and can then upload images and comment etc? I am new to WP so just checking with experts before I start making it from scratch.

    Any help or pointers will be greatly appreciated.

    They want a site where people can log in upload pics, rate and comment on them.

    I swear I JUST saw a new plugin that handles the upload of pics.

    As for rating and commenting, commenting is built in, rating is not (there are a LOT of plugins for that).

    But. yes, WP can. You need to poke around the plugins section, though 😀

    Could you let us know what the plugins are? Much appreciated cheers. Also does anyone know any themes which are suited to this kind of thing.
