   Is there any way to set the size in which thumbnails are generated? Per default it's 128x96 but i'd like them at least twice as large.

   I don't believe you can change that in WordPress (at least 2 people have asked the same question). You can try to edit the source if you wish, but the iframes (where you see thumbnails) might then be too small.
