1.2-epsilon-RC1 Cannot Change Draft Title

    Once a DRAFT is saved and you decide to change the entry title before Publishing…the original DRAFT title is what’s used as the Permalink…not the title you decided to go with.

    Just to be clear…this is a Permalink issue. It looks like the Permalink is decided once a person saves a draft rather than when the entry is published.

    Not a bug.
    In 1.2, you can edit the post’s slug (the %postname% part of the permalink) when you are in the Advanced Editing screen.
    Since when you’re editing a draft you are taken to that screen, you can change the post’s slug just as you change the post’s title.

    Got to wp-admin/edit.php on line 277 and change
    permalink_link to the_permalink

    LoganSix, if you still have permalink_link anywhere then you haven’t upgraded fully.
