• Hey guys,

Wondering if you can help — I run a theme called “Learning Matters,” which I believe may have been specifically built for the site I’m working on, also called “LearningMatters.” When I go into my backend — I’m an admin for it — my theme appears to be locked. I can’t choose anything else except that and default. Also, I’m missing “Editor,” “Header,” “Menus,” and various other things under “Appearance.”

I tried de-activating all my plugins, and that didn’t work.

Does anyone else have another idea?

  • I see this error
Fatal error: Call to undefined function promoplayer_display_home() in /home/learnin/lmtv/wp-content/themes/learningmatters/index.php on line 10

    so what is promo player?

I fixed that up. Promo Player was just a plug-in to create a main engagement area.

If anyone knows how to get “theme” so that I can choose from others — or knows how to get “Appearance —> Editor” back, that would be awesome.

Try re-installing WP from >Dashboard >Updates if you are sure it won’t hurt your site (custom code in core files).
