    WP phpBB Bridge it needs translation. We need persons with good knowledge of the english language to translate the bridge in their native language. The process is simple and here we show you the steps.

    First of all you have to download the poedit from here : http://www.poedit.net/download.php

    Then you have to open the file /wp-content/plugins/wp_phpbb_bridge/languages/wp_phpbb_bridge-en.po with the poedit. Translate then each record to your native language and finaly save the translation as wp_phpbb_bridge-ln.po [ie: wp_phpbb_bridge-es.po for spanish, wp_phpbb_bridge-fr.po for france and so on ], where ln is your language ISO code. [You can find your language ISO code here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ISO_639-1_codes Is the one in the column with title 639-1]

    After you save your translation you will have two files. The one is the wp_phpbb_bridge-ln.po and the other is the wp_phpbb_bridge-es.mo.

    Finally send to us both of your translation files on support@wordpress-gr.org

    Hi and Thanks for your beautiful plugin! I’ve just finished Turkish translation, uploaded the wp_phpbb_bridge-tr.mo and wp_phpbb_bridge-tr.po files to the languages directory of the plugin to see and check the translation in action, but nothing happened. Could you please recommend a solution? Actually, I do not want to send the files before I myself test them, but if you want me to send, I can send them.

    What version of WordPress are you using ? I mean are you using the Turkish version or the English one ?

    If you are using the English version, you have to open and modify the wp-config.php that is located in the root directory of your wordpress installation and then change the define (‘WPLANG’, ”); to define (‘WPLANG’, ‘tr’);

    If your translation is completed we will be happy to included in the next WP phpBB Bridge version so to be available for other Turkish users too.

    We have get the translation, and we will share it with the next version of the WP phpBB Bridge, as well the German translation.
