    Tonite I made my choice to make WordPress main site program. Have had it in a directory b4. Installed latest build tonite.
    Problem with images. It uploads them fine, makes a thumb ok, can see them in directory. After uploading it gives me the code to copy and paste into an article for the large one only.
    There is no add image even in advanced for an entry. just the img button, and no code for either popup nor for thumb.
    There is soon going to be a lot of movable type users coming aboard, and we are used to having thumbs included into an article without having to go back to hand coding for image including and for popups from thumbs. I can do it the “old way” but would like to see it better than this.
    Is the way wordpress is handling mine typical or is something missing? I’m not complaining, just wondering if something is missing or if WordPress has not yet developed image handling abilities 🙂
    Otherwise a terrific program.

    There are a number of changes in the works for WordPress 1.2, it won’t be released for a little bit yet. It’s rumored for 1.2.
    Other people have noted (and I can verify) the lack of a image upload button in the posting page.
    As for image editing having a thumbnail generated at all is new to WordPress 1.2. Lots of great individuals are putting an enormous amount of effort into making this product. 1.2 offers a great deal of changes that should make it easier to add in functionality.
