Am I missing something or does the main blog in the WP network setup not have the options of “front page displays”? Under Settings > Reading all my subsites have the “front page displays” options but my main blog does not. Is it possible to set a page as my main blog’s home page the way you can on a non-network WP installation?

Works fine on my sites. Try turning off your plugins and/or switching to the 2010 theme.

I reverted to the 2010 theme and it made no difference. All the subsites show that option fine but the main blog won’t.

Just Akismet and WP Latex (written by the same people that wrote Akismet). Besides, what would a plugin have to do with the admin pages unless it was an admin plugin?

There’s nothing in the multsite code to prevent that. Not a thing.

You have a plugin or theme interfering. Or, if you haven’t written any pages, that might do it. Cuz then you’d have nothing to pick.

File this one under stupid. There were no pages yet in the main blog. Thanks all.
