    Hi

I am trying to install a plug-in called tidy up (it cleans code) but according to the plug-in webpage I have to give it some permissions, here is what it says.

Give tidy.linux, tidy.osx, tidy.exe, or tidy.freebsd execute permissions for the web server (generally means giving ‘x’ permission to group/other)

How can I do this please?

    Thanks for your help
    Luisiher

I’m also wondering the same thing. How do I enable permissions to use this plugin?
    Thanks,
    Tess

    Hi IBma

I found it you. You have to go to your hosting dash board – then you should have an option called content, within that option you should have an option called file manager, there you will see all your files, go to wp-content folder then plugins and the tidy up, you will see all the files there tidy.linux , tidy.osx etc (depending of you hosting operating system) then you should have de uption to select that file an choose executable. Once you have done that, click update and you should have the permission to use tidy plug.

I f your host is godaddy let me know and i will tell you the exact steps
