• I switched servers but before I did, I exported my WP blog. When the new server was up and running and I had a new theme, I imported the WP blog…all of my posts are showing no problem….but no pictures or images.

I have gone through many posts about this via search and majority either did not have a relevant answer or it was all about code and HTML and I have no clue about any of that. I have tried re-importing the WP file and it did nothing. Do I seriously have to go through three years of posts with sample images and re-upload them??

    Please someone help me!

  • What is the location of an image shown in your browser, is it the old location or the new location?
To know what’s the location of an image, right click on that image and choose to open the image in a new tab or browser window. You can see the location in the url bar.
If the images have the old location, then you have to change that to the new location. A possible solution is to run an update query in MySQL (that’s how I should try to do it).

The images will not allow me to right click. my site is http://www.maria-angela.com and the blog is located all on the same wordpress template thanks to Photocrati. Now if you look past the first page (I fixed the majority of the first page posts and the second page posts)…you will eventually see that everything from that point on…is just a blank square with a border.

I have no clue how to run a query in MySQL…can you show me how?

Hm, if you don’t have experience with that, it’s a little bit to “dangerous”. If I were you, I would contact somebody with MySQL experience. Or maybe look a bit further, maybe there is a solution…
The problem is that your pictures still are related to your old domain name (I checked your source code).
