  • Can you post the URL of the page that doesn’t function?

Please also list which other plugins you have enabled in your WordPress installation.

    Here is the site.
    http://www.hourofthetime.com/

I will get back to you with the other plugins that are activated.

Thanks. I looked at the source code of the webiste, and my plugin doesn’t seem to be activated.

It could either be your theme or another plugin that is the reason. Try to change the theme temporarily, and deactivate all other plugins.

Let me know what you discover.

Right now we have these activated plugins
    Akismet
    Exploit Scanner
    Maintenance Mode
Open external links in a new window
    podPress

    thank you for your help

Have you tried to disable the rest, so “Open external links in a new window” is the only activated plugin? Does it work then?

    What about changing the theme?

    Hi there,

I just experienced the same problem. Instead of the problem that you described Bellyoffire, it occured to me that the plugin stopped working after a couple of reloads (instead of days in your case). Nonetheless, I was able to solve the problem by downgrading to version 1.7 (current is 1.9). Perhaps that can help you as well, I thought I should let you know.

Regarding the plugins, I only share Akismet with the plugins you use.

    Regards,

Thank you, I will give it a shot. I noticed that it will work on the posts page but off and on, on the homepage. I was going to try and hard code it into the head of the homepage and see if it stays but I will give this a try.

Hmm… Jura25: What exactly are you downgrading from 1.9 to 1.7?

Does the plugin get disabled, or does it simply just stop working?
If an error occurs, I believe WordPress disables the plugin automatically.

I don’t know about Jura, but in my case, the plugin does not get disabled. It just isn’t working all the time on the homepage but seems to keep working on the posts page.

I also check the source code and the external plugin is not showing (when its not working) but shows when it is working.

I kept checking the posts page, on various posts and the plugin kept showing up. When I go to the homepage, it would be there sometimes but not others. Right now it doesnt look like it is disappearing completely on the homepage. Its on and off. Happens all day long.

By the way, I see what Kezze is saying. There is only 1.0 and 1.0.1 versions. You either typed in the wrong numbers or you switched to a different plugin.

I released a new version, 1.1.0. Let me know if this solves your problem.

    (@bellyoffire)

It doesn’t solve the problem. Its not even showing up on the homepage at all now when sometimes it was.

Okay. I do not think that I’ll be able to help you unless you can provide me with error logs, debug data or such.

http://www.zappelfillip.de/2005-12-05/zap_newwindow/ may be working for you.

Thank you for your help. What I may do is try to hard code it to the template and see if it will stay there and work all the time.

Did it work to hard code it?
