DIsplay some widgets in two columns

    Hello.
    I’d like to know, is there a simple way to arrange some of the widgets in two columns.
    And what about categories in two columns? All the solutions I’ve found seemed to be related with older versions, and fixed wp_list_categories(); which is deprecated in WP 3.0.5.

    I don’t understand what you mean? Are you trying to feature a widget in two columns at the same time or trying to split a widget into two columns?

    Both 🙂
    I want to split categories into two columns.
    And I want two other widgets (tags and recent comments) to be next to each other.
    Like:

    Category1 Category2
    Category3 Category4
    Tag1 Tag2 Comment1 Comment2
    Tag3 Tag4 Comment3 Comment4
